Christmas!

Oh, Christmas! I love it! It was a wonderful day.

Here are some highlights!

1. Electricity went out in half of the house. It returned in the afternoon with a phone call to the electric company. The house got chilly!

2. My dad wrapped my mother's clean laundry. She was happy to find out where her clothes went! (And have them returned!)

3. My grandmother did an outstanding job on gifts! I got one of her rings (we believe that my grandfather gave to her). My dad got his father's old pipe and military wallet.

4. We started a new tradition of fajitas for Christmas dinner! Yum!

5. A joke from the English Crackers, "Why are graveyards so noisy? Because of all the coffin."

6. As a family, we gathered around the television to watch Doctor Who Christmas Carol.

7. We celebrated with great joy the birth of Jesus!

Oh, Christmas. You are the best!
